ANIMATION
20 minutes a day

The 20 Minutes A Day Project

The Beginning

I have been teaching myself animation over the past 2 weeks in hopes of switching into the animation program at my school. I have dubbed this the "20 minutes a day project" where I spend 20 minutes making an animation. starting all the way from the very first bouncing ball

this was my very first bouncing ball. Pretty rough around the edges, not too great.

Bouncing Ball 2

This was my second crack at the bouncing ball, in this one I wanted to include impact frames in a similar style to one piece, as well as showing acceleration and a bit of cloud stuff with my sonic boom.

Anticipation and Timing

In this one, I was attempting to demonstrate anticipation and timining through the use of a guy jumping, however i did not get to finish the blocks for tha falling. I'm actually pretty proud of this one so I may come back to it.

Rotating Character Ref

This was my attempt to get a rotating caracter ref of parking man. I did him in minimal detail first and then started adding the cone frame by frame.

The original work was done by @yoonisan_ on twitter and can be seen here

STUDIES

on top of creating my own animations, I've also been studying the animations of others. One Piece is what inspired me to begin animation in the first place, And this is one I started based on it.
